Stell launches new getstell.com and full documentation at docs.getstell.com

A rebuilt site and complete documentation give merchants, partners and developers everything they need to evaluate, launch and grow a wallet pass program.

Oslo, Norway ·

Stell today launched a rebuilt getstell.com together with complete documentation at docs.getstell.com. Merchants, partners and developers now have everything they need to evaluate, launch and grow a wallet pass program, from the first visit to a live rollout.

Stell builds pass lifecycle management for mobile wallets: issuing loyalty passes, tickets, gift cards and memberships in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, keeping every pass updated in real time, and reaching pass holders with Engage, Stell's messaging module. Every pass carries a QR code or barcode and supports NFC tap via Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap on supported terminals.

A site that answers the real questions

The new getstell.com goes beyond introducing the platform. It answers the questions merchants actually work through: which pass type fits a given program, how members identify themselves at the counter, which hardware works, and what a live rollout looks like.

  • Eight pass types, each with its own page. Loyalty cards, memberships, gift cards, stamp cards, coupons and offers, event tickets, pickup passes and boarding passes, each covering the format, the use cases and the path to launch.
  • The platform explained by capability. Dedicated pages for NFC identification, real-time updates and push, enrollment, and a wallet-by-wallet comparison.
  • Solutions by industry. Pages for retail and grocery, cafés and restaurants, fitness and memberships, and events and venues, each mapping the platform to how those businesses operate.
  • The in-store reality covered. A directory of NFC readers that work with Stell passes, and articles on member acquisition, in-store identification and wallet strategy.
  • A newsroom with company facts, press contact and brand assets.

Documentation for the whole journey

docs.getstell.com launches with four sections that mirror the lifecycle of a program:

  • Getting started takes a new merchant from account to first pass in a wallet, step by step.
  • Merchant portal documents every part of the Stell portal: pass designs, pass holders, and Engage campaigns, segments and automations.
  • Launch and grow offers playbooks for enrollment, in-store rollout and building a member base after launch. Most platforms document the software; this section documents the program.
  • API reference covers the Stell REST API and webhooks in full, including the OpenAPI specification, for developers and integration teams who build on the platform.

Documentation your AI can read

The documentation is also available as an MCP server at docs.getstell.com/mcp, with no authentication required. People increasingly ask an AI assistant before they open a search bar, and an assistant answering from months-old training data guesses, often confidently and wrong. Connected over MCP, ChatGPT or Claude answers from the live documentation instead, current as of the moment the question is asked.

That covers the whole documentation, not just the API. A loyalty manager can ask how to build a segment or set up a birthday automation in Engage, an operations lead can ask what an in-store rollout involves, and a developer's coding agent can check the API reference for itself while it writes the integration.

Availability

The new getstell.com and docs.getstell.com are live today.

About Stell
